I'm Gwen Mlondobozi, a data analyst based in Johannesburg, South Africa with a focus on turning raw data into decisions people can act on. My work sits at the intersection of three disciplines: business analysis, economic analysis, and financial analysis — and I like it that way, because most real-world problems don't respect those boundaries either.

Business Analysis
I build dashboards and reporting systems that give organizations visibility into what's actually happening — not just what the last spreadsheet said. Using Power BI, SQL, and Python, I design tools that turn scattered data into something a team can actually use day to day, and automate the reporting work that shouldn't need a human doing it manually every month.

Economic Analysis
I track and interpret macroeconomic trends using primary sources like SARB and Stats SA data, translating indicators into insights that matter for real decisions — market conditions, sector performance, policy impacts. I'm currently completing a BCom in Economics to deepen this side of my work.

Financial Analysis
I work on quantitative finance problems — portfolio risk and performance measurement, Monte Carlo simulation, options pricing and Greeks — applying rigorous, model-based thinking to financial data. This is the area I'm most excited to keep growing in.

Background
I hold a BCom in Business Management and I'm currently completing a BCom in Economics. I work with Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau, I care about doing analysis that's honest, clearly communicated, and genuinely useful — not just technically correct.
